Crooked House
Crooked House
Crooked house, designed by Szotynscy Zaleski is live example
of houses in fairytales and cartoons as they are little warped and irregular in
shapes to appear comical. The construction of the house completed in 2003 on
around 4000 m2 land in Sopot, Poland and is part of a shopping
center. The house is mainly used for business purposes; mostly accommodate
offices related to real estate business. The architecture is so crooked that
people feel dizzy to watch this house from front; even the sign boards are
painted in the crooked shape to match the profile of the building. The Crooked
house appears more like a drawing than an actual building. The house is
indisputably a masterpiece and is a proud for 21st century
architecture.
